1.The subject advertisement displays as a result of their internal illumination, design, appearance, colour scheme and visual prominence has a detrimental impact upon the visual amenity of the site, harmful to the streetscene and detracts from the setting of the adjoining listed buildings, would also fail to preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the Romford Conservation Area and therefore the proposal is considered contrary to the implementation of Polices 7, 26 and 28 of the Local Plan 2021, the National Planning Policy Framework 2021 and Section 66 and 72 of the Planning (Listed Buildings and Conservation Areas) Act 1990.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to Ms Monica Wells by e-mail on 27/02/23.
