| 1. | The operations come within the provisions of Schedule 2, Part 1, Class E of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015, thereby not requiring planning permission. |
| 2. | The applicant is advised that Havering Tree Preservation Order 8/73 protects a number of trees to the rear of the application site to the rear of 39 Rockingham Avenue. A copy of the TPO can be obtained [fee payable] from the Council's Planning Admin Team via email at planning@havering.gov.uk .
The TPO protects all parts of any tree(s) it applies to, including their roots. The applicant therefore needs to ensure that any building works in the vicinity of the tree(s) in question does not cause them harm. If any parts of a protected tree are proposed to be severed an application for consent must be made to the Council well in advance of the works. Carrying out works to a protected tree without consent may result in legal action being taken against those responsible.
Applications for consent to works to protected trees can be submitted online via the Planning Portal at https://www.planningportal.co.uk/info/200130/common_projects/53/trees_and_hedges |
| 3. | This certificate provides confirmation that the development is lawful. You should also check whether the development requires separate Building Regulation consent.
