1.The operations do not fall within the provisions of Schedule 2, Part 1, Class B of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 2015, as amended. Specifically, the proposed roof extension would extend beyond the plane of the existing roof slope which forms the principal elevation of the dwellinghouse and front a highway. Furthermore, details have not been provided on the submitted drawings about whether the proposed flank windows would be obscure-glazed and non-opening unless the parts of the windows which can be opened are more than 1.7 metres above the floor of the room in which the windows are installed.
