1.Planning permission was granted under P1125.25 for the proposed erection of a rear dormer roof extension to the existing first-floor commercial office (Use Class E), to provide additional usable floor space, (No change of use is proposed) on 13th January 2026, which has been implemented. As such, the accommodation in the roof space including the rear dormer window has not been in use within one or more of the classes specified in sub-paragraph (2) for a continuous period of at least 2 years prior the date of the application for prior approval as required by MA.2. (3)(b). Consequently, in the absence of verifiable proof of operational commercial use within this specific element of the property, under the provisions of Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 [as amended], the prior approval of the Local Planning Authority is refused.
