1.Prior to the installation of the solar PV equipment details of the impact of glare from the solar PV equipment on occupiers of neighbouring land shall be submitted to the Local Planning Authority for approval. The details shall demonstrate that the solar PV equipment shall minimise glare and not cause adverse reflected glare to surrounding Occupiers. Reason(s): To ensure there is no unacceptable impact on the residential amenity of surrounding occupiers (Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Development Plan Policy D61, Draft Local Plan Policy 36.
2.This development must be carried out in accordance with the details submitted in the application including: application form, Site Location Plan, PV Roof Layout Drawings RES00045-2 Rev 03, PV Roof Elevations Sheet 1 of 3 RES00045-2 Rev00, Roof Elevations Sheet 2 of 3 RES00045-3 Rev01, PV Roof Elevations Sheet 3 of 3 RES00045-3 Rev00, Bower Park Academy Solar Edge Designer Summary Report, Bower Park Academy Solar Edge Designer Report, Revolution Site Photograph document pages 1 to 33, Solar Edge String Design Report, Email form Agent dated 7th July 2021 confirming 544 x JA Solar JAM60S20-380 (1000V) panels to be installed with batteries installed inside the school building.
3.The applicant is reminded that the development is permitted subject to the following conditions: (a) the solar PV equipment or solar thermal equipment must, so far as practicable, be sited so as to minimise its effect on the external appearance of the building and the amenity of the area; and (b) the solar PV equipment or solar thermal equipment is removed as soon as reasonably practicable when no longer needed.
