1.The creation of an additional window on the proposed second floor (south facing) elevation of the dwelling does not meet Condition 2(b). Consequently, under the provisions of Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development)(England) Order 2020 [as amended], the prior approval of the Local Planning Authority is refused.
2.The creation of an additional storey to the existing two storey detached dwelling would, by reason of its height, scale, bulk and mass, appear overbearing, dominant and visually intrusive in the rear garden environment and result in undue overlooking and loss of privacy harmful to the amenity of adjacent occupiers.Consequently, under the provisions of Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development)(England) Order 2020 [as amended], the prior approval of the Local Planning Authority is refused.
3.The creation of an additional storey to the existing two storey detached dwelling would, by reason of its height, scale, bulk and mass would be of poor design detrimental to the character and appearance of the site itself, as well as appearing incongruous and out of character in the streetscene and rear garden environment harmful to the character and appearance of the surrounding area. Consequently, under the provisions of Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development)(England) Order 2020 [as amended], the prior approval of the Local Planning Authority is refused.
