1.As shown on the site photographs, the three small high level windows on the rear elevation of the building would be the sole light source to Flat 1. In the absence of a daylight/sunlight report, there would be limited light to Flat 1, which would result in poor living conditions and amenity for future occupants. Consequently, under the provisions of Schedule 2, Part 3, Class MA of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2021 (as amended), the prior approval of the Local Planning Authority is refused.
2.One of the windows on the rear elevation of the building would largely serve the staircase and basically one window on the rear elevation of the building would be the sole light source to Flat 2. In the absence of a daylight/sunlight report, there is insufficient information to assess whether Flat 2 would have adequate natural light. Consequently, under the provisions of Schedule 2, Part 3, Class MA of the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2021 (as amended), the prior approval of the Local Planning Authority is refused.
