| 1. | The arrangement as shown would obstruct cycle routes that have become even more important since the original mast application (REF: M0012.20) was made. In the absence of the proposed station the cycle and walking network is especially important through establishing links to existing stations. The proposals would accordingly be contrary to the strategic ambitions of the Rainham and Beam Park regeneration projects envisioned within the adopted Rainham and Beam Park Masterplan and Planning Framework. |
| 2. | The proposed telecommunications monopole, cabinets and ancillary development would by reason of their combined siting and design be detrimental to the open character and visual amenity of the area forming form a prominent and intrusive feature over longer distances through lack of adequate screening thereby contrary to Policies 25 (Digital Infrastructure) and 26 (Urban Design) of the Havering Local Plan 2016-2031, in addition to the provisions of the Framework and Policies D4 and SI6 of the London Plan 2021. |
