| 1. | The proposed telecommunications monopole would by reason of its height, design and prominent position be detrimental to outlook and appear overbearing to surrounding residential occupiers and would be detrimental to the character and appearance and visual amenity of the area and would form a prominent and intrusive feature over longer distances through lack of adequate screening thereby contrary to Local Plan policies 2, 25 and 26 and London Plan Policies D4 and SI6 of the London Plan 2021. |
| 2. | The Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development)(England) Order 2015 [as amended] makes the provision that some minor amendments could be made on an application submitted under Schedule 2, Part 16, Class A. Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but the development was considered unacceptable on its own merits, and any required changes could not have been provided within the timeframe of this application. |
