| 1. | The proposed telecommunications mast and equipment at street level would, by reason of their siting, height and visual appearance, detract from local character and appear as dominant and visually intrusive features in the street scene, harmful to the visual amenities of the area. The proposed development would conflict with Policy DC61 (Urban Design) and Policy DC64 (Telecommunications) of the Council's Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD which seeks to ensure that telecommunications development does not have an unacceptable effect on the character and appearance of its surroundings in addition to the provisions of the Framework and Policies D4 and SI6 of the London Plan 2021. |
