1.The proposed telecommunications mast and associated development would by reason of siting, height and appearance, appear as a dominant and visually intrusive development in the street scene, harmful to the visual amenities of the area. The proposed development would conflict with Policy DC61 (Urban Design) and Policy DC64 (Telecommunications) of the Council's Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD which seeks to ensure that telecommunications development does not have an unacceptable effect on the character and appearance of its surroundings in addition to the provisions of the Framework and Policies D4 and SI6 of the London Plan 2021.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to the applicant in writing 18-05-2021.
