| 1. | The proposed telecommunications equipment and associated development would, by reason of its siting, height and appearance, appear as a dominant and visually intrusive feature in the street scene, would be harmful to the visual amenities of the area, and would be contrary to the National Planning Policy Framework 2021 [as amended], policies D1, D2, D4, D5 and SI 6 of the London Plan 2021, policies DC61 and DC64 and DC69 of the Havering Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD 2008. |
| 2. | The applicant has not demonstrated that the proposed telecommunications equipment and mast would not obstruct the visibility of drivers for emerging vehicles and those travelling along North Road which presents as an increased road safety risk, contrary to Policies DC32 and DC64 of the LDF Core Strategy. |
