1.The extent of changes to the scheme would go beyond the scope of a non-material minor amendment. The request to add a canopy projecting 0.5m on the side elevation is a material change to the previously approved scheme and there would be a reasonable expectation that neighbouring properties would be consulted on the matter. Therefore, the alteration cannot be regarded as non-material and requires a fresh application for planning permission (or S73 application).
