No.Condition Text
1.The local streetscene is characterised by semi-detached bungalows and the two storey application property is particularly prominent at the end of the street. The proposed extension, by reason of its physical bulk and overall width, would be unacceptably prominent in the streetscene, contrary to Policy ENV1 of the Havering Unitary Development Plan.
2.The proposed extension, by reason of its incongruous design, width, bulk and balcony provision, would appear as an unacceptably uncharacteristic addition to the existing structure to the detriment of the streetscene, contrary to Policy ENV1 of the Havering Unitary Development Plan.
3.The local streetscene is typified by single family dwellings, and it is considered that the proposed new dwelling created by the extensions would appear cramped and unacceptably out of keeping with the character of the street. The proposal would also, by reason of its cramped layout, have insufficient amenity space. The proposal therefore represents an unacceptable overdevelopment, contrary to Policy ENV1 of the Havering Unitary Development Plan.
