1.The side/rear extension, by reason of its excessive depth on the shared boundary, is considered to be an intrusive and unneighbourly development that has an adverse effect on the amenity of the adjacent occupiers at No. 262 Mungo Park Road, contrary to Local Plan Policy 7 and the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to the agent (Mr Sanjeevan) by e-mail on 21/03/2023.
3.The scope of assessment in this application is the appropriateness of the single storey side/rear extension. This planning permission does not assess or authorise the use of the building overall, or any of the individual rooms in the property, nor the layout of the building as shown in the drawings submitted with the application.
