1.The proposed two storey side extension would, by reason of its position and proximity to neighbouring property at No.396 Upminster Road North, cause loss of light which would have a serious and adverse effect on the living conditions of adjacent occupiers, as the proposal would be an intrusive and unneighbourly development, contrary to the Supplementary Design Guidance (Residential Extensions and Alterations) and Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Development Plan Document.
2.The proposed two storey side extension would, by reason of its relationship to the neighbouring chalet bungalow, at No.396 Upminster Road North, overbear and appear as an unacceptably dominant and visually intrusive cramped feature in the streetscene harmful to the appearance of the surrounding area contrary to the Supplementary Design Guidance (Residential Extensions and Alterations) and Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Development Plan Document.
