1.The enlargement of windows on the north elevation on the shared boundary with no.68 would prejudice future development of this adjacent site and adversely affect the amenity of the occupiers of that site through increased overlooking of habitable rooms and of the rear amenity space at no.68. The result is a development that would detract from and negatively impact the surrounding area and by virtue of this, is considered to be of poor quality design which would be detrimental to the amenity of the adjoining occupiers at no.68 contrary to Policies 7 and 26 of the Havering Local Plan.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to the Agent via email on the 20th February 2023.
