1.The proposed development, by reason of the scale, bulk, depth and mass of the proposed roof configuration in association with the scale of the proposed rear dormer, would be an intrusive and incongruous form of development and would appear over domineering when viewed from the rear gardens, harmful to local character and amenity and contrary to the provisions of Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Development Plan Document, the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document and Policy 7.4 of the London Plan.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to Mark Breden by email on 10 April 2020.
