| 1. | The proposed rear infill at first floor level in terms of its overall width, siting with the combined existing scale of extensions on site and the existing rear dormer would result in more than half of the width of the original hosting, a top heavy and incongruous addition to the roof and out character with the row of terrace houses it forms part for this corner plot property, to the detriment of the visual amenity of the streetscene and locality. As such, the proposal is contrary to Policies 7 & 26 of the Havering Local Plan and the Council's Residential Extensions and Alterations SPD (2011). |
