1.The proposed rear infill at first floor level in terms of its overall width, siting with the combined existing scale of extensions on site and the existing rear dormer would result in more than half of the width of the original hosting, a top heavy and incongruous addition to the roof and out character with the row of terrace houses it forms part for this corner plot property, to the detriment of the visual amenity of the streetscene and locality. As such, the proposal is contrary to Policies 7 & 26 of the Havering Local Plan and the Council's Residential Extensions and Alterations SPD (2011).
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason for it was given to Mr. A. Anwar via e-mail on 1.5.26.
