1.The proposed development would, by reason of its excessive width, scale,bulk, mass, gabled roof form and cramped appearance would unacceptably unbalance the appearance of this pair of semi-detached house and appear as a dominant and visually intrusive feature in the street scene, harmful to the appearance of the surrounding area, as well as intrusive and overbearing in relation to the adjacent residential property at no. 2 Hesselyn Drive, contrary to Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document and Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to Mr Neobard by phone on the 25/04/16.
