1.The proposed development would, by reason of its excessive width, scale, bulk, mass, cramped appearance and incongruous roof form unacceptably unbalance the appearance of this pair of semi-detached house and appear as a dominant and visually intrusive feature in the rear garden environment, harmful to the appearance of the surrounding area, contrary to Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document and Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD and Policy D1 of the London Plan Adopted March 2021.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to Civils Consulting Ltd by e-mail on 15-04-21.
