| 1. | The proposed gates in conjunction with the high piers and boundary treatment set back into the site would unacceptably enclose the front garden and would set an undesirable precedent, detrimental to the open and verdant character of the Gidea Park Conservation Area. The proposal would neither preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the Gidea Park Conservation Area and is therefore contrary to Policies DC61 and DC68 of the LDF Development Control Policies Development Plan Document. |
