1.The proposed extension of operating hours would, by reason of its location and relationship to nearby sensitive receptors, in particular property nos. 325a & b South Street and the rear gardens of properties on Melton Gardens, result in an unsatisfactory relationship by way of noise and disturbance caused by delivery movements, vehicle parking, stopping and starting, plants/machinery within and surrounding units with the sound of loud conversations from staff comings and goings, be unacceptably detrimental to the amenities of occupiers of nearby residential properties contrary to policies contrary to Policies DC55, DC61 and DC63 of the Development Control Policies DPD.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, it was necessary to issue a decision as close to the statutory timeframe as possible as opposed to seeking amendments which would have significantly delayed the application.
