1.The proposed development with respect to the roof alteration would unacceptably compromise the original character of the building and appear incongruous, dominant, and visually intrusive when viewed from the rear gardens of the adjoining building and the streetscene contrary to policies 7.4 and 7.6 of The London Plan (2016), policy DC61 of the London Borough of Havering LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD 2008, and the London Borough of Havering Residential Extensions and Alterations SPD 2011.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: In accordance with paragraph 38 of the National Planning Policy Framework 2019, improvements required to make the proposal acceptable were not negotiated with the agent or the applicant. However, the applicant (Omar Sadeque) was informed with respect to refusal of the scheme on 08/05/20.
