No.Condition Text
1.The proposed roof alterations would, by reason of their bulk, scale and massing, give rise to a top heavy and visually intrusive form of development, which unacceptably unbalances and harms the symmetry of this pair of semi-detached bungalows, as well as appearing visually intrusive and out of character with the Belmont Avenue streetscene and rear garden environment, materially harmful to the visual amenity of the surrounding area contrary to Local Plan Policies 7 and 26 and the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to the agent via email on 06/06/2024.
