1.The proposed rear extension would, by reason of its depth and position close to the shared boundary, would lead to a visually intrusive and overbearing form of development that would have an adverse effect on the amenity of the adjoining occupiers at No.11 Greenock Way, contrary to Policy 7 of the Havering Local Plan (adopted 2021) and the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document (2011).
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: In accordance with paragraph 38 of the National Planning Policy Framework, improvements required to make the proposal acceptable were shared with the agent via email on 02/06/2025. The revisions involved a depth reduction of the proposed extension. The applicant did not submit the suggested revisions.
