1.The extended operating hours would result in a greater level of noise and general disturbance later at night and during the early morning, which would be seriously prejudicial to the amenity of adjacent occupiers and of the surrounding area in general. The proposal also gives rise to concern over the potential for a material increase in disorder, anti-social behaviour and other community safety issues in this location. Accordingly, the proposal is considered to be contrary to Policies DC23, DC55, DC61 and DC63 of the LDF Development Control Policies Development Plan Document and paragraph 17 bullet point 4 of the National Planning Policy Framework.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reasons for it were given to the agent in writing 19-06-2018.
