1.The proposed development would, by reason of its poor design and excessive height, appear an incongruous, unacceptably dominant and visually intrusive feature in the streetscene harmful to the character and appearance of the surrounding area contrary to the Supplementary Design Guidance (Residential Extensions and Alterations)of the Havering Unitary Development Plan and Policy DC61 of the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Submission Development Plan Document.
2.The proposed development would, by reason of its position and proximity to neighbouring properties and proposed first floor flank window cause overlooking and loss of privacy which would have a serious and adverse effect on the living conditions of adjacent occupiers contrary to the Supplementary Design Guidance (Residential Extensions and Alterations) of the Havering Unitary Development Plan and Policy DC61 of the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Submission Development Plan Document.
