1.The proposed dwelling, by virtue of the form, width and sitting would represent a incongruous form of development that would fail to harmonise with its surroundings and would result in significant harm to the character and appearance of the streetscene, contrary to Policies 26 of the Havering Local Plan.
2.The depth of the proposed parking along the front of the proposed dwelling is of an inadequate size to accommodate a vehicle with impeding pedestrian movement. As such, the development is contrary to Section 10 of the Havering Residential Extensions and Alterations SPD and is deemed unacceptable.
3.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to the agent via email 23rd August
