1. | The timber lattice would by reason of its form, materials and prominent siting, appear incongruous and visually intrusive in the streetscene harmful to the character and appearance of the existing building and the surrounding area contrary to Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD. |
2. | The timber lattice would, by reason of its form, position and proximity to the rear gardens of neighbouring properties in Hainault Road and Eastern Avenue West, cause overlooking and loss of privacy, which would have a serious and adverse effect on the living conditions of adjacent occupiers contrary to Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD. |
