| 1. | The proposed two storey rear extension would, by reason of an excessive width, bulk, design and close proximity to the boundary with the attached neighbour, result in a development that would be out of character for the host dwelling and the immediate surrounding area and result in a visual impact to the amenities enjoyed by the attached neighbour including a sense of overbearing development, which is contrary to the Residential Extensions and Alterations SPD 2011 and Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD. |
