1.The proposed two-storey front extension, by reason of its width, height and projection would represent a visually intrusive and incongruous feature, unbalancing the semi-detatched pair which would be detrimental to the design, character and appearance of the host property and visual amenity of the streetscene and adjacent residential amenity contrary to Policies 7 and 26 of the Local Plan, the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document and Policy D1 of the London Plan.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given the Agent by e-mail on 14/06/23.
