1.The proposed development would, by reason of its height, bulk and mass, relate poorly to the existing dwelling and would appear as an unacceptably dominant and visually intrusive feature in the streetscene harmful to the appearance of the surrounding area contrary to Policy ENV1 of the Havering Unitary Development Plan.
2.The proposed side and front extension would, by reason of its excessive height, bulk and position close to the front boundary of the site, be an intrusive and unneighbourly development, as well as having an adverse effect on the amenities of surrounding occupiers, contrary to Policy ENV1 of the Havering Unitary Development Plan.
