1.The proposed rear dormer and first floor extension, by reason of its height, width and design, would appear as an obtrusive and bulky addition, that would be excessively prominent and overbearing in the rear garden scene, and poorly related to the design of the original property. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy ENV1 and Appendix 1 of the Havering Unitary Development Plan.
