1.	The proposed dormer by reason of their design, size, mass and position within in the roof would result in an intrusive form of development, detrimental to the character of the house and constitute a harmful feature within the rear garden environment and is thereby contrary to Policy DC61 of the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Submission Development Plan Document.
2.	The proposed development would, by reason of its bulk, mass, roof form and reduced setbacks to the existing dwelling, lack subservience to the existing dwelling and appear as an unacceptably dominant, overbearing and visually intrusive feature in the streetscene harmful to the appearance of the surrounding area contrary to the Supplementary Design Guidance (Residential Extensions and Alterations) of the Havering Unitary Development Plan and Policy DC61 of the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Submission Development Plan Document.
