| 1. | The proposed development in particular with respect to the single storey side extension with by reason of its design, configuration, layout and position would appear as an incongruous feature which would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the host building, having an adverse effect upon the symmetrical aspect of the pair of the semi-detached building, resulting in material harm in the visual amenity of the wider street scene contrary to policies 7.4 and 7.6 of The London Plan (2016), policy DC61 of the London Borough of Havering LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD 2008, and the London Borough of Havering Residential Extensions and Alterations SPD 2011. |
