| 1. | The proposed development with its jirkenhead roof alteration, altered hipped roof and increase in ridge level would appear incongruous and unbalance the appearance of the pair of semi-detached properties and appear as an unacceptably dominant and visually intrusive feature in the street scene harmful to the appearance of the surrounding area due to its scale, bulk and mass and therefore be contrary to the Residential Extensions and Alterations SPD and Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD. |
