| 1. | The proposed building would, by reason of its size, bulk, length and proximity to the residential boundary and location adjacent to residential gardens, amount to an, overbearing and intrusive element in the rear garden environment of neighbouring properties and would, therefore, be harmful to the character of that rear garden environment and also to residential amenity, contrary to Policy DC61 of the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Submission Development Plan Document. |
| 2. | The residential use of the building would result in unacceptable overlooking of and interlooking between the building sought and neighbouring residential property, occupiers of which would suffer unacceptable invasion of privacy. The proposal would, therefore, be harmful to residential amenity and contrary to policy DC61 of the Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Submission Development Plan Document. |
