1.It is considered that the solar panels, by reason of their height, appear as an incongruous and unduly prominent feature within in the rear garden scene, as well as being visually intrusive and thereby having an adverse effect on the amenities of the adjacent occupiers at no. 102 Harlow Road, contrary to Local Plan Policy 7 and the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it is given to the planning agent via email on 18th October 2023.
