| 2. | The proposed roof alterations would, by reason of its bulk, poor roof / dormer design and mass close to the boundaries of the site, appear as an unacceptably dominant and visually intrusive feature harmful to the character and appearance of the host property, visual amenity of the surrounding area and result in an overbearing impact on the occupiers of no.1 Chaseside Close contrary to Policy 7 and 26 of the Havering Local Plan and the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document. |
