1.The proposal would, by reason of its design and siting, result in an unsympathetic, visually intrusive development which appears harmful to the architectural quality of the subject dwelling and the overall appearance of the street scene. The works would neither preserve, nor enhance the character and appearance of the Gidea Park Conservation Area contrary to Policies DC61 and DC68 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD and the Residential Extensions and Alterations SPD.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to Mr Cooper via email on 8th October 2018.
