1.The loft conversion including the hip to gable roof alteration and rear dormer, would unbalance the symmetry of this pair of semi-detached properties and appear as unacceptably dominant and visually intrusive features to the detriment of the character of the host property, semi-detached pair and street scene, as well as to the visual amenity enjoyed from adjoining properties contrary to Policy 7 and 26 of Havering Local Plan and the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to Elahe Soufiani (agent) by email on 04/10/22.
