| 1. | The proposed rear dormer window, by reason of its scale, bulk and mass, would relate unacceptably to the existing dwelling and would appear as unacceptably dominant and visually intrusive features in the street and rear garden scene. As a result the development would be harmful to the character and appearance of the surrounding area, contrary to Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD, Residential Extensions and Alterations SPD and Policy 7.4 of the London Plan. |
