| 1. | The proposal to raise the height of the roof of the mid-terrace house is judged to unacceptably disrupt the roof form of the terrace, to the detriment of the character of the property, terrace and appearance of the surrounding area. The development is therefore contrary to Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD, the Residential Extensions and Alterations SPD and London Plan Policy 7.4, which requires development to maintain, enhance or improve the character and appearance of the local area. |
