| 1. | The proposed rear dormer windows would, by reason of their scale, bulk and mass, relate poorly to the existing dwelling and would appear as unacceptably dominant and visually intrusive features in the street and rear garden scene. As a result the development would be harmful to the character and appearance of the surrounding area, contrary to the Residential Extension and Alteration Supplementary Planning Document and Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies Development Plan Document. |
