1.The proposal, by reason of the excessive height and width and design of the boundary treatment, in combination with its visual prominence, would result in the loss of visual permeability to the front of the host dwelling and form an incongruous and visually intrusive feature within the street scene, at odds with the established character of the surrounding area, detrimental to the wider streetscene and contrary to Policy 27 of the Havering Local Plan, Policy D4 of the London Plan and the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to the agent Mr Marcel Hurst via email on 04/02/2025.
