| 1. | By reason of its close proximity to No. 173 Shepherds Hill and excessive bulk, the two storey rear extension would form an over dominant disproportionate addition that would represent an intrusive form of development in the rear garden environment. The proposal would unacceptably impact on the amenity of occupiers located at No.173 from an overbearing and un-neighbourliness point of view. The proposed development would also result in an unacceptable loss of light to habitable windows for these neighbouring occupiers. The proposal would be contrary to Policy DC61 of the LDF Core Strategy and Development Control Policies DPD (2008) and Havering's Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document (2011). |
