1.The proposed (side/rear) extension combined with the unauthorised roof extension would significantly harm the architectural composition of the building and unbalancing the symmetrical aspect of the pair of semi-detached houses in a prominent position and therefore it would be out of keeping with the character of the area and consider to be an intrusive and unneighbourly development athereby having an adverse effect on the visual amenities and character of the area, contrary to the Residential Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document, policies D1, D3 and D4 of The London Plan (2021) and Policies 7 and 26 of the Local Plan.
2.Statement Required by Article 35 (2) of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (England) Order 2015: Consideration was given to seeking amendments, but given conflict with adopted planning policy, notification of intended refusal and the reason(s) for it was given to the agent Mr Younus Ali via phone on 24/01/22.
