In addition, the side dormer window is in essence a continuation of the flank wall and the proposals will unacceptably alter and cause visual harm to the shape and roof form of this semi-detached dwelling, whilst being a dominant and visually intrusive feature in the streetscene harmful to the appearance of the surrounding area contrary to Policy ENV1 of the Unitary Development Plan. |
| 2. | The proposed development would, by reason of its position and proximity to neighbouring properties cause overlooking as well as loss of privacy and light which would have a serious and adverse effect on the living conditions of adjacent occupiers, contrary to Policy ENV1 of the Havering Unitary Development Plan. |
