1.The side dormer window is not satisfactorily contained within the roof space of the dwelling. In addition, the side dormer window is in essence a continuation of the flank wall and the proposals will unacceptably alter and cause visual harm to the shape and roof form of this semi-detached dwelling, whilst being a dominant and visually intrusive feature in the streetscene harmful to the appearance of the surrounding area contrary to Policy ENV1 of the Unitary Development Plan.
2.The proposed development would, by reason of its position and proximity to neighbouring properties cause overlooking as well as loss of privacy and light which would have a serious and adverse effect on the living conditions of adjacent occupiers, contrary to Policy ENV1 of the Havering Unitary Development Plan.
