1.To carry out high pollarding by overall crown reduction various trees in the rear garden; T1)Sycamore behind shed in rear garden overall crown reduction by 50% to pervious pruning points T2)Ash tree in centre of lawn, overall crown reduction by 40%, 1m above previous pruning points. T3)Ash tree to left of main tree in centre of lawn, overall crown reduction by 40% to previous pruning point. T4)Sycamore in far left hand corner, overall crown reduction by 50% to previous pruning points. T5) Pear, this tree can be crown reduced by 30%. T6) Ash tree, on left hand side of garden opposite main shed, to be crown reduced by 30% T7) Ash tree, in front of T6 can be crown reduced by 40%. T8) Ash tree, towards front of lawn remove large branch to lower junction to open up vista to bottom of garden remaining tree to overall crown reduce by 40%. T9) Hornbeam can be overall crown reduced by 30% and thinned by 10%.
2.It is suggested that you engage the services of a qualified and fully insured tree surgeon to carry out the above work on your behalf (you should ask to see the contractor's insurance certificate and make sure that it is up to date).
3.The applicant is advised that if you wish to carry out further works to the above tree[s] you will need to obtain our further consent.
4.Anyone who takes, damages or destroys the nest of any wild bird whilst that nest is in use or being built is guilty of an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and prior to commencing work you should ensure that no nesting birds will be affected.
5.Please note that if the work for which consent is granted is not carried out within 2 years of the date of this letter, it will be necessary to submit a fresh application if it is intended to implement the work.
6.You should comply with British Standard No. 3998 'Recommendations for Tree Work' a copy of which can be inspected at this office. You are advised that the work should be undertaken by a competent and suitably qualified tree contractor.
